The NSW Department of Planning and Environment granted their approval of the solar farm’s Traffic Management Plan (TMP) on the 14th April 2017. This was the last remaining element required to be met in the Development Consent, in order for the solar farm to commence construction in all areas. The approved TMP can be downloaded on this link.

Approximately 4 months after Neoen received confirmation of ARENA’s grant for the Parkes Solar Farm, the project reaches Financial Close. Together with the Griffith and Dubbo projects, the Parkes Solar Farm is the first project to reach this milestone in the context of the ARENA large-scale solar competitive round.
